Coldplay!!!!!!!!
Oh my god, the Coldplay concert was freakin' AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend it - besides them being an awesome band with awesome songs and being awesome musicians and singers, their actual show was sooo well put together. The lights, the video - it was all so cool. And they played Swallowed in the Sea for the beginning of the encore!!!! So Meggie was verrrry happy. And Vincy and I got to sing green eyes to each other. Okay this was a reply to Care's comment but it got so long that it's just an entry now, "I'VE DECIDED." : yahhhhh I know I didn't tell you I didn't want to spread the word if they were going to DENY me but luckily they DIDN'T!!!!! I applied a few weeks ago and had my interview (eek) and presentation of my speech last night and already today the lady e-mailed me and said the committee was "very impressed with my message and presentation" and they are "confident I will do a fine job representing my fellow candidates." Ha!! Sorry to all the other suckers how weren't as cool as me. :P We'll see if I don't die while I'm doing it - I was sweating so bad last night. But it's way cool I get to sit on the stage and stuff like that. WHAT THE HECK!! I know it's crazy. Thanks to Vince for making me apply the night before when I really wanted to but was being a chicken like I am. Now everyone wants to come and I've got to find out and plan my tickets but I'm planning on you, Care, to be here!! It's the 18th at two. MUAH MUAH oh yah and I suprised myself by actually coming up with halfway-decent answers to their interview questions quickly - my Dad said he couldn't do that that good that fast and I consider him one of the smartest people I know. I was thinking about it, and I've never actually had like a real interview, so that was definitely good for me for jobs later. | | 1:19 pm |

What I've been doing for awhile
Yo yo! Hello my peeps. So life's been crazy, as it goes, with school/midterms, work changing ownership, etc., etc. But in between I've been fortunate to do some really great stuff. :) Martin Luther weekend Vince and I road-tripped to Monterey. The aquarium was better than I remebered as a kid, and Vince had never been. We saw everything! The otter and penguin shows were cool, of course, but my fav was prolly all the jellyfish. It was so much fun to be doing soemthing semi-educational together, too, because we haven't had the time/energy to go do something awesome like that in awhile.  THEN the next weekend we went SAILING!! John's stepdad owns a sailing instruction school in Sausalito, so John took us and this random freshman dude John invited cuz he's an RA. He'd mentioned it for a long time, but we finally did it and I'm so glad we did it then because the next day was our two-year anniversary. :) So V & I made an AWESOME lunch and we drove out there. John taught us all this stuff, and we set sail!! JOHN SAYS I SHOULD BE A SAILOR!! Vince says he will buy me a boat and we will live on it and sail around the world. :) Apparently I was really good at the knots and stuff and always got his quizzes on terminology the fastest. AND I even steered!! It's hard - you turn the wheel a teeny bit and the front turns so much. It was damn cold for the second half; I thought I would die. And it was tiring, too. But it felt so good. I was proud. I only got scared a few times, because mostly I maned the starboard jib sheet, so whenever we made a turn, the boat tilted in the direction that put ME face to face with the water. Eeks! But it was so beautiful - all these seals kept poking their heads out!! We sailed under the golden gate, and wanted to go around Angel Island or Alcatraz, but it was getting late so we went towards downtown awhile and then headed back. Man. That was one cool experience. Just a few:     THEN the next day was our anniversary!! Now, to give background to this story, it was my idea awhile ago that Vince could get me nice earrings and I would get my ears pierced a second time so that I could always have something nice from him with me and still wear my cool beaded earrings, because he has reservations about rings and junk. He actually really liked the idea, but I didn't think it would happen. But HE went out by himself and got me diamond stud earrings, and is going to take me get my ears done!!!!! They are SOOOO BEAUTIFUL and I can't believe he really did it. I got him tickets to a bunch of stuff at the Mondavi Center, including Beijing Modern Dance, which he is excited about because their program is choreographed to Pink Floyd's The Wall. So yah. :) It's really too bad the thing we went to on Friday was horrible. :( Better luck next week. Today I got to spend with Arti, hallelujah! We got lunch and shopped and made cookies. Well, SHE made cookies while I transferred stuff to my new purse I got. ;P Ha! Tonight just watchin' the Grammy's and eatin' Vince's dinner, and tomorrow on Hearts Day I'm makin' dinner and we'll do presents. I got the coolest stuff for him!! Little packages will line the whole hallway... :) Two midterms again next week but nothing can spoil all this other great stuff that's goin' on and my high on Vince. :) Hope you are all doing well!!!!!
